无色易挥发液体。不溶于水，溶于醇，可混溶于乙醚、氯仿。其蒸气与空气形成爆炸性混合物，遇明火、高热能引起燃烧爆炸。与氧化剂能发生强烈反应。

n-Heptane

Colorless and volatile liquid. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, miscible in ether, chloroform. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, which causes combustion and explosion in case of open flame and high heat energy. It can react strongly with oxidants.
